What is your interest in the Mass. Studies Network?
I am a Board Member of The Irish Ancestral Research Association. We are interested in submitting a proposal for an Irish themed Mass Memories Road Show. We intend to collaborate with other organizations such as the Irish Cultural Centre of New England.
About Me:
I'm a retired teacher who went "back to schooL' and received a Certificate in Public History from Northeastern University. I have worked at the Mass State Archives. As well as being a Board Member of TIARA, I am past co-editor of its Newsletter and directed TIARA's Forester Project (rescue and processing of a collection of fraternal insurance documents.) This collection is now housed at UMass Boston. I am an advisor to the UMass Archives staff. I continue to work on the Foresters collection with a volunteer program at UMass and at TIARA.
