What is your interest in the Mass. Studies Network?
I am interested in learning with others how to promote programs more successfully to the public, to help development of an all volunteer board, and to refine grant writing techniques.

Hi Rose - the best way to get the word out would be to use as many of the various features of the network as are comfortable for you. First and foremost, start building your own network by adding "colleagues" - i.e by searching the profile pages (http://mastudies.ning.com/profiles/members/) for folks with similar interests and then clicking "Add as Colleague" on the left hand side of the page. You can then send e-mail notices out to your "Colleagues". The Event Calendar is a very popular feature on the site and the perfect place to post the Boston Charter Day activities. You can't e-mail everyone on the MA Studies Network, but you can email the members of any "Group" you've joined. You could also create "Journal Posts" describing the group, its activities, etc, and add photos of past events - just settle in and make yourself at home, and the message will get out :)))
