About Me:
I am a senior @ Endicott College in Beverly, MA. Currently, I am working doing a full time internship at the Essex National Heritage Commission in Salem. I am also working on my senior thesis on Governor John Endecott, and his work in developing early horticulture in America. I am getting ready to apply to graduate school and pursue a career in the museum field, but I am also looking into Historic Preservation and Heritage Tourism.

I don't have any personal experience with the grad programs you're considering -- although I, too, had looked into the Simmons program. I ended up doing my MA in history at Salem State College, partially b/c of the reasonable cost and partially b/c it gave me a lot of flexibility in coursework, scheduling and I was able to focus on what I wanted to do. The downside was not a whole lot of career guidance - but I didn't really need that at that point. But there are LOTS of folks on the network that could probably give you their two cents on their grad programs - so ask around!
