Rainsford Island Island - May 5th - Explore!Rainsford Island ExpeditionThe Friends of the Boston Harbor Islands are sponsoring a trip to Rainsford Island on Saturday, May 4, 2013  departing from Rowes Wharf Water Transport (60 Rowes Wharf, Boston behind the Boston Harbor Hotel on Atlantic Avenue). The closest T stations are South Station (Red Line) and Aquarium (Blue Line). The boat leaves Rowes Wharf at 10:00 am and gets back at 2:00 pm. The "City of Salisbury" Wreck, April 1938, AKA "The Zoo Ship"

Hi, I'm interested in chatting with anyone who's got stories to share about the wreck of the ship "City of Salisbury" off Graves Light in April, 1938. Because of its cargo of exotic animals, many of which were pitched into the water, it was also called the "Zoo Ship."
