What is your interest in the Mass. Studies Network?
I would like to connect with other professionals in the history field.
About Me:
I am a site manager at the Phillips and Gedney Houses in Salem, MA. My days are ever-changing and I love it! Images of America: Franklin Park was published in June 2009 and I have been working on the promotion of that and speaking about the history of Franklin Park. In my spare time (haha!) I volunteer for the Frederick Law Olmsted National Historic Site, the Friends of Fairsted, and the Franklin Park Coalition.

In 2011, I became the Marathon Charity Team Leader with the Franklin Park Coalition. Over a three year period, a team of 15+ runners will take on the BAA Boston Marathon and raise money for youth, athletic, and cultural programming in Franklin Park as well as historic restoration projects.
I also bartend at Chili's in Danvers occasionally.

Thanks for the reply. I think the weather might keep us inside tomorrow. We'll try for May!

Are you giving a talk about Franklin Park this weekend? I saw it on and am going to try to attend. Is it toddler-friendly?

Welcome aboard, Julie! There are several Salem folks around here. I, too, worked on an Images of America book on Norwood. Saunders Robinson, who you can find on this network, is an editor for The History Press... if you're looking for more book projects... for your free time! :)
