Hi Gloria,
Heather Cole suggested I contact you regarding your work with the Charles River Group. I am trying to get historical society/history museum folks in New England to answer a short survey for my Masters thesis. I'm hoping you will take pity on a struggling grad student and take a moment to answer my survey and/or send it along to other folks in that group. If you have folks you think I should contact I would love that information as well. Below is the link and I've also posted it as a discussion topic on two of the interest groups you belong to.

Thank you!

Hi Gloria - great to have you here! Hope the network can be helpful to you in your work in Needham (one of my several past hometowns ;) We're still doing the "Mass. Communities in American History" workshops, but now hold them up at Spencer-Peirce-Little Farm in Newbury - a more evocative setting than UMass!

Welcome aboard, Gloria! Feel free to invite anyone else from the Charles River Group who you think might be interested. (Sorry I haven't been to a meeting in ages...) And you can post any upcoming hist soc public events under the "Events" tab and they'll show up for everyone to see. Let me know if you have any trouble...
