Hi Rose -- In addition to my work at UMass Boston, I work with a (currently) all-volunteer organization in Boston that documents the history of Boston's and Massachusetts' gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender communities. As most of our (very active) board members and many of our volunteers work full time, we meet regularly in the evenings. That's when a volunteer supervisor can be available, when we are able to meet with researchers, etc. We do have meetings and work hours on some weekends as well.

I am joining this group because small organizations of volunteers can benefit from talking with each other.  Here is a quick question.  How do you engage people who are working full time?  Do you have meetings in the evenings or on weekends?
