Dear Mass. Memories Roadies,

The Mass. Memories Road Show is headed to Reading! And we’d like to invite you, as an experienced Roadie, to take part as paid staff. As you know, having experienced, friendly people working the Road Show stations makes all the difference in having a successful event. The details are below. Please let me know ASAP if you are available and if you have any preferences as to what station(s) you’d like to work.

Saturday, October 24, 2009
11:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. (must arrive by 10:00 a.m. for training)
Reading Public Library (64 Middlesex Avenue, Reading, MA 01867)
Stipend: $60 for the day

We’re happy to help coordinate carpools, so please let me know if you are able to drive someone from your area or if you need a ride.

Thought MMRS folks might be interested in our effort to gather some local history of the WWII era. It was inspired by the Road Show experience. This is the first time we've tried a special web page/blog with audio interviews, etc. Hope it works. Any suggestions from those who have done similar things is welcome. You are welcome to share your story too! Take a look at....
