Brazies of Berkshire County:  It looks as though the Native American ancestry in some Brazie families may be due to my Winchell family.

I was just given copies of many photos of family members.  My grandfather had burned all he had in the 1960s.  I didn't know what many relatives looked like.  Still no photo of the Civil War vet John L. Winchell Sr., though.

Family history and genealogy are such great doorways into primary source research and in understanding our communities in a deeper way. My current project is trying to get information on Mary and John Murphy, my ancestors in 1860s Boston - I call it the "Needle in a Haystack" problem :)

Hi! I haven't done any work on my family history in ages.... my binders of notes are collecting dust in my attic. Hopefully you folks will help inspire me to get back to work!
